i've been creating things with a camera ever since i started filming my friends and i trying to skateboard in my back yard. when i took a family trip to new york city in 2008, i was so overwhelmed by the beauty & energy of the city that i begged my mom to let me use her point-and-shoot camera to take pictures of everything. she relented, and i ran around the city with a camera glued in my hands thinking to myself: "i want to do this forever"
